To honor a remarkable man that died this summer, I got with his wife to make 8 different quilts. She wanted his sisters, brother, daughter, his mom and dad and herself to have a tangible remembrance of him. So far, we have finished four of the quilts.Some quilts used more of his golf shirts, others used his dress shirts, and some even used his jeans. You'll notice that this man served in the Air Force and we wanted to honor that fact in several of the quilts. What a touching Christmas present for these special families!
