About Elizabeth's Quilts

We all have t-shirts that mean a lot to us. We cherish our T-shirts from our elementary or high school experiences, college, sports, races, charitable events, church organizations, etc. We don't want to throw them away because they remind us of a special time or a special accomplishment in our life.

Let me make you a special keepsake quilt of your favorite t-shirts. You'll love having this custom-made quilt on your bed or hanging on your wall for many years to come! Please continue to scroll down to find examples of t-shirt quilts. (Even older posts).

Memory Quilts: I have made several quilts to help people remember special family members that are not with us anymore. Quilts can be a remarkable way to cherish your loved one through their personal clothes. I have combined golf shirts, button downs, pajamas, hats, jackets, and more to add unique memories to these quilts. These quilts have proven to be a very comforting present.

(Examples as you scroll down).

I am also happy to make a custom-request quilt for baby showers, special events, etc.

Happy Story!

I loved getting this phone call.  A mom in Greenville
found me on Google and wanted 2 quilts for Christmas.
One was for her son, the dentist, in his late 20's. Can you tell he
went to Clemson?? Go Tigers!
The other quilt was for her daughter that had lots of fun
dance, high school and college shirts. Glad to hear they
like their quilts.....and now will be busy getting ready
for their new babies! I can't wait to post the baby
quilts that we make for these special people!
The world is a small place :)

If a picture paints a thousand words....

This quilt was created for a young lady that is
very special to me and my daughters! Our friend,
Laura, was our babysitter in earlier years;
and now, she is our friend and an amazing
role model! I wanted to try a new kind of quilt
with Laura - sewing a fabric journal
of her journeys into many countries.

We decided to incorporate fabrics she had
collected from the various countries,
verses and special words, and pictures
printed onto fabric that will always remind
her of new friends in other lands!

Love you Laura and so proud of you!!!

Tour De Champlain Quilt
This quilt was created for a very special man
and to commemorate 20+ years of the bike
tour he founded. My hope is that this quilt
will bring much comfort and warmth
to this outstanding man!

Run, run, run.....the Peachtree!

This wonderful assortment of shirts was created
for a mom that has enjoyed the Peachtree Road Race
for many years! She didn't want her shirts (or
her memories) to remain in her drawers
 forever and not be cherished!
It's a great gift FOR YOURSELF!

Sorority Quilts!

Quilts are a great way to recycle your sorority t-shirts!
This particular quilt was a surprise for a former
babysitter :) Katrina is from a wonderful family and
now has her own beautiful family!

Ava's Baby Quilt!

I LOVE the colors that Ava's mom (Liz) picked out for
little Ava's nursery. Bright, Bold and Beautiful colors....
I bet they will describe this little girl as she grows up!!

The pattern is from Moda.... and I appliqued Ava's
name in the middle to make it her own :)

The back of the quilt has my favorite fabric, minky!
It is incredibly soft!! And of course, it's pink :)
